Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

I've gotten a few emails about 1. what happened to my other posts? and 2. why haven't I been posting? Well for starters, I decided to make this a blog about travel only, so I pulled all the other stuff. Which leads to... there haven't been any posts because I haven't been anywhere lately. But spring break is on the horizon, and hopefully some big summer plans, so keep checking back.

As for my other stuff, I've added a new blog. It will have my own photos (once I start taking them) but for now... check it out.

SO there's a reason why I haven't posted a thing since February.

I've been busy.

Not constructively, I mean, I haven't been off saving the world.

I've been traveling a lot. Moved from London back to New York.

Trying to Figure out what I'm doing in school. No luck.

A lot of family stuff going on, all good things, but they kept me occupied.

Anyway, basically what's happened is this:

So there it is.

Now I'm back in Manhattan, and loving summer in the city with the old crew.

I don't exactly know what I'll be up to next, but I've got two plans in the works, and they're both pretty big.

Been a while.

So much to say... so little time.

Let's start at the beginning.

Went to Paris for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

Of course I ate myself stupid all weekend. Crepes and fries and deliciousness. Went out to the club on Saturday, met a guy who only spoke French and Italian. So I spoke to him in Spanish, talk about international relations huh?

Came back home to Jolly Olde, chilled all week. Nothing big. Had a Valentine's day fiesta in my room, where some guy (who I won't put on blog-blast) coughed all over my pillow and got me sick. Now I feel horrible.



On the same note, I will be a very busy bee for the next three weeks or so. Got an essay due soon (like 2000 words I think), and a midterm after that. Then I am off to Amsterdam for a weekenderrrrr.

I'm so tired right now. I'm might hit the sack around 10pm tonight. Ooooh, I'm getting happy just thinking about sleep.

SIZE?

Took a walk over to Portobello market today. It was decent, nothing special. Something like a NYC street fair. A little too much hype surrounding that place if you ask me.

Stopped off at a shop called SIZE? Good supply of sneakers, worth a visit. Only thing is, there sizes don't run small enough for me. I almost copped a pair in a size 6 men's, but they wouldn't have fit right and they weren't too nice.


Loved a pair of Hi-top Dunks, brown tweed panels, orange swoosh, but they were way too large. No chance.

Got some advice to go over to Oxford Circus. Guess there's a few more shops that way. Might get around to it next weekend.

Hopefully next Sunday I can get up to the flea market in Camden Town, which I heard some good things about a while back.

I copped these pre-London, and they're a tad bit toasted. It's definitely time for a new pair I think.

Only thing is I have no idea WHERE TO GO IN LONDON FOR SNEAKERS!! No one I've met so far has a clue. I have yet to see a decent shop to cop from, let alone an exclusive one. I gotta build up my contacts here. In New York, this would have been a half-hour phone call/ pick up.
